Harvest Brodiaea Bulbs (Brodiaea coronaria) - (20-Ct.)
New for the 2025-26 winter season and now shipping!
Like camas, ookow, and other edible, geophyte (bulb-forming) meadow flowers of Western North America, this delightful little plant can readily be grown from seed, however the process can be achingly slow (i.e. years) before the plant is mature enough to produce its first blossoms.
Live bulbs speed up this process, with a multi-year old plant that is closer to a mature, flowering age.
A lover of full sun, to partially-shaded locations, harvest brodiaea is a carefree, super long-lived little plant that will shrug off soggy winters, and bone-dry summers, offering up its bright purple/magenta flowers in the spring. Wonderful planted in masses, especially with other meadow geophytes like slim leaf onion and wild hyacinth.
Note that our stock of this plant is small -- both in availability and physical size. Not all plants may flower in the first year -- and any that don't find a new home soon-ish will be going back in the ground, possibly permanently!
Available in units of 20 small-sized 2-5 year old bulbs.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to phytosanitary restrictions, we are unable to ship bulbs to Canada.
