Shipping policy
Domestic (USA Shipping)
Most orders ship within 2 to 5 business days. During busy seasons, larger orders may take slightly longer to pack and ship. Most orders ship via USPS First Class mail with typical arrival times of 1 to 3 business days in the Northwest.
All orders are assigned a USPS tracking number when they are packed and the shipping label is printed. A customer email containing the tracking number is generated. Please watch for this email (check your spam folder if you do not receive it within 5 business day of purchase). Note the status of your shipment to securely receive it upon to delivery.
Lost or Missing Packages
Due to theft from unsecured customer mailboxes and other point of delivery factors, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements when USPS tracking documents a successful customer delivery. For lost an missing shipments, customers should initiate a USPS Missing Mail Search.
Additionally -- we strongly recommend customers with missing mail speak in person with their local post office. Because shipping labels are barcoded and scanned at the point of delivery, in our experience post office staff can often pinpoint the exact location of a packages delivery scan. Note that this approach often more quickly finds packages than the online mail search process.
Shipping to Canada
We do ship to Canada, however please note that large orders are sometimes temporarily held for customs inspection, with most clearing in 2-4 business days. Very large packages may be subject to customs duties which are the responsibility of the customer. Because seed is alive and because we lose quality control oversight when seed leaves our shop, we are not able to restock or offer refunds for seed that is refused by customs inspectors or by customers who refuse to pay import tariffs. To minimize delays, we ship all Canadian orders via USPS/Canada Post.
All Canada-bound packages have t required customs documentation attached. However we have no ability to facilitate customs problems, and can't offer refunds on packages that are indefinitely held or refused by Canadian customs authorities.
Shipping to Other Countries
Because of the complexity and variability of international phytosanitation regulations, we are not able to export to other countries at this time.
