Wild Arugula Seeds
Rich in numerous nutrients, a super food for almost any site.
This fascinating south European wild vegetable (technically Diplotaxis tenuifolia) is a sort of perfect food plant: ridiculously packed with vitamins, having a stellar spicy-peppery foliage that pairs lushly with pizza, salads, and Mediterranean cheeses, it’s also happily tolerant of terrible soil conditions – compacted sandy embankments, saline-saturated coastlines, and even cracks in stone walls (giving rise to the alternate common name of wall roquette). Scatter the seed in the neglected corners of your garden and be paid back with regular foraging harvests, or if you’re ambitions, plant it in rows for a fast growing easy and virtually pest- and problem-free micro-green crop (with first harvests in about 40-days).
Wild arugula is a perennial in mild climates, and is quite cold-hardy – it can be planted in late summer for harvests into the fall, or planted on a continuous cycle for continuous harvests throughout the growing season.Smaller, more deeply-lobed leaves than other arugula species, and significantly more tenacious as a plant.
Approximately 200 to 400 seeds (1.0 gram).
