Midori Edamame (緑枝豆)

A consistent, robust performer, Midori edamame is a standard izakaya-quality variety. It’s wonderful simply boiled in salt water for 4 minutes -- even better when boiled, then quickly pan sauteed with garlic, gochujang, and shoyu.

Producing it’s first harvests in about 70-days, Midori is a reasonably tall, bushy, free-standing plant, capable of surpassing 2-feet in height. Plant with about 1-foot spacing for best performance.
