Course-Grit Blaumarke Whetstone (For All Scythes)

This is the coarsest scythe whetstone that we carry, officially rated as a 220-grit stone, it removes blade imperfections quite aggressively. We recommend it for:

• Initial sharpening of very dull blades (to be finished off with one or more finer stones such as our Fux or Styria stones) 
• Restoration of nicked or damaged blades
• Primary sharpening of heavier scythe blades such as our Nordic, Forestry, and Meadow & Light Brush type scythes

26-centimeters in length. Choose from the stone by itself, or with either the high-visibility shatter-resistant belt holder, or copper holder.
